Valentine’s Day at Hospice

Denise Hoffman and Mary Sherman, volunteers at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, deliver valentines to patients at White Oak Manor on Valentine’s Day. Hospice volunteers picked up and delivered valentines (baked goods, balloons and favorite goodies) to patients at home, in facilities and at the Hospice House in Polk County and Landrum. Some valentine couples even received a special “dinner for two.” All “valentines” were made possible through the generosity of the Kirby Hospice of the Carolina Foothills Jean Eckert Fund at the Polk County Community Foundation.
