FENCE Family Concert March 18 features Duetto

Duetto, made up of flutist Barbara Tilly and pianist Pam McNeil, will perform March 18 at 4 p.m. in a at the FENCE center. This is a free event and refreshment will be served.
Barbara Tilly received a B.A. in music performance and education from the University of South Carolina – Columbia. She then was awarded a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellowship for study at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium, where she received a premier prix in flute and chamber music in 1980. A frequent performer locally for Community Chorus concerts, Tryon Little Theater musicals and other groups, she has also performed with the Papageno Quintet of Greenville, S.C., the Converse Wind Ensemble in Spartanburg, the All-American College Marching and Show Band at Disney World, The Augusta Symphony in Georgia, the Columbia Philharmonic in South Carolina and as soloist with the Greenville Concert Band.
Pam McNeil is certified through the Sherwood School of Music in high school, studied piano, voice and music education at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC, (B.A.), where she was also in the college choir, the Chamber Singers and the college band. She received her MMEd. at Western Carolina University, where she also studied piano and organ, with additional post-graduate studies at Converse College. She has accompanied instrumentalists, vocal soloists, recitals, musical theater productions and choral ensembles as well as being a church organist/choir director. Her motto is “Have keyboard, will travel.”
