On Feb. 27, the members of the Men’s Monday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club met at Tryon Estates for their first duplicate bridge tournament in the club’s spring session.
At the end of the afternoon’s play, the partnership of Charlie Stratford playing with Bob Palmer was determined the winning team. The second place team was Ken Yeager playing with Don Iaffaldano. Placing third was the tandem of Mickey Brandstetter and Don Eifert.
The club next meets on March at the home of Mike Verbonic.
