Polk Library holds ‘Planning for College’ seminar March 6

On Tuesday, March 6, the Polk County Public Library will host a “Planning for College Seminar.” Featured presenter will be Skip Watts of College Foundation Inc. CFNC’s goal is to help students and families plan, apply and pay for college.
This financial aid and college planning workshop will include information about financial aid basics and the college cost of attendance. FAFSA will be discussed at length, as well as North Carolina and Federal Financial Aid programs. Watts will also discuss tax credits and choosing a career path.
