The Tryon Kiwanis Club recently decided to sponsor an Aktion Club, a community service club for adults with disabilities. This new local Aktion Club will hold an informative meeting to kickoff the club’s formation in Polk County Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be hosted by Polk Vocational Services and will take place on the PVS campus at 451 Industrial Park Drive, Columbus.
The meeting is open to all area adults with disabilities who would like to get more information about joining the Aktion Club and serving the community in a positive way.
