The Landrum Lions Club is conducting its annual Christmas Spirit Fund to assist those in need in the local area. Each December businesses and individuals are asked to make financial donations to this special fund to support the projects at Operation Hope in Landrum. All funds raised will be given to Operation Hope to assist those who are in need during the Christmas and holiday season.
Landrum Lions Club President Gary Greene said the needs of those who are experiencing hardships during our poor economy are many.
“The Landrum Lions Club members feel that now is the time that we step forward to provide assistance to these individuals. We should be thankful for the opportunity to assist Operation Hope as they provide support to the needy, and we encourage all citizens to participate.”
