A seminar on “Understanding the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for parents and caregivers” will be given at the Polk County Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Hosted by Jean Alvarez of the Autism Society of North Carolina, the seminar is for those with all diagnoses, not just autism. It will cover goals, language and how to advocate for your child.
