Tryon Painters & Sculptors holds four-in-one gala happening

Tryon Painters & Sculptors (TPS) will hold a gala happening on Friday, Dec. 2 that is four events in one:
• Tag sale
• Grand opening of the new TPS gallery with a ribbon cutting ceremony
• Participation in the Tryon Christmas Stroll
• A show in the main gallery of paintings and drawings by Francesco Lombardo and in the smaller gallery of sculpture, paintings and drawings by Mary Ellen Wuerfel and Karen Johnston
Jeanne Parker’s estate has gifted TPS with all her art supplies: all types of brushes; paints; papers of all kinds; matte boards and much more. These items will be available for purchase through a tag sale for members only from 10 a.m. to noon and for the public from noon – 8 p.m.
The grand opening celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce and food and drink.
The Christmas Stroll will begin at 5 p.m. and continue through 8 p.m. The gallery shows will end Dec. 17.
