Microfinance helps people living in poverty build small businesses by supplying basic financial services. This allows them to improve their family’s well-being and protect themselves against unforeseen economic and social hardships. The program is designed to help reduce poverty in developing countries and to provide an opportunity for people with stable resources to help those less fortunate.
