Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held last Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 198 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Lacey Brooke Arrowood was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Arrowood was fined $30 and court costs.
Shelly Marie Bolt was convicted of misdemeanor larceny, consuming malt beverage/unfortified wine on city/county property and intoxicated and disruptive behavior. Bolt was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, $29 in restitution and court costs.
Carl Joseph Brown was convicted of speeding 79 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Brown was fined $30 and court costs.
Danielle Marie Cutrone was convicted of speeding 98 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Cutrone was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $98 fine and court costs.
Amanda Renae Dixon was convicted of driving a vehicle with no operator’s license. Dixon was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
Dustin Edwin Furr was convicted of driving while license revoked and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Furr was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Daniel Travis Gaffney was convicted of possession/consumption of beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Gaffney was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation.
James Clemen Harrelson was convicted of common law obstruction of justice. Harrelson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $60 fine and court costs.
Jeremy Keith Hembree was convicted of simple assault. Hembree was sentenced to 16 days in jail with credit for time served.
Jaci Hernandez-Sanchez was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Hernadez-Sanchez was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Donna Wright Jones was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Jones was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Martin Ethan Kimmons was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Kimmons was fined $75 and court costs.
Roger Walter Ledford was convicted of speeding 79 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Ledford was fined $40 and court costs.
Noah Vincent Lofton was convicted of speeding 59 m.p.h. in a 50 m.p.h. zone. Lofton was fined $30 and court costs.
Daniel Earl Logan was convicted of attempt to possess firearm by a felon. Logan was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.
Annette Pearce Lyda was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Lyda was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Andrew Steve McDowell was convicted of speeding 44 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone. McDowell was fined $30 and court costs.
George Robert Mooney was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for a controlled substance. Mooney was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Nikolas M. Mothershead was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Mothershead was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $25 fine and court costs.
Ricardo Rome Mozqueda was convicted of possession of marijuana ½ ounce to 1½ ounces. Mozqueda was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Crystal Boone Ruff was convicted of littering in a gameland/access area. Ruff was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Trina Renee Sandridge was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Sandridge was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Crystal Kay Sarratt was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and driving while license revoked. Sarratt was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and 24 hours of community service for driving while impaired and 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs for driving while license revoked.
Justin Ryan Shell was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Shell was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Oscar Ramirez Sotto was convicted of speeding 79 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Sotto was fined $40 and court costs.
Joshua Ross Taylor was convicted of driving while license revoked. Taylor was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Julia Ann Towery was convicted of consumption of alcohol by 19/20 year old. Towery was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $40 fine and court costs.
Dylan James Walker was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Walker was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
La Donna C. Williams was convicted of speeding 94 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Williams was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Joshua Richard Wilmsen was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Wilmsen was fined $100 and court costs.
Caroline Wesley was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Wesley was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $75 fine and court costs.
