This year’s Community Chorus concert director, Mark Schweizer, brings together more than 100 voices to celebrate the season Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. at the Polk County High Auditorium.
Schweizer’s festive program features a range of music from a Scottish carol to the West Indies calypso beat. There is also a piece based on a Huron Indian carol. Many pieces, both traditional and modern, from “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming” to Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” will be played.
Ticket sales benefit Rotary Club of Tryon’s scholarship program.
