Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 155 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Michael Glenn Bates was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bates was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Thomas Christian Boles was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area and possession/consumption of fortified wine/liquor/malt beverage on unauthorized premise. Boles was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Terry Lee Bunch II was convicted of misdemeanor breaking or entering and misdemeanor larceny. Bunch was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Cathy Ann Cannon was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Cannon was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Lyndsey Noell Deiters was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Deiters was fined $75 and court costs.
Louis Anthony Gonzales was convicted of speeding 92 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Gonzales was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Hector Germa Gutierrez was convicted of driving a vehicle with no operator’s license. Gutierrez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
William Fred Longwell was convicted of failure to reduce speed. Longwell was fined $30 and court costs.
Angela Brown Martin was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Martin was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for time served.
Charles Jessie Raines was convicted of breaking or entering and simple assault. Raines was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for time served.
Robert Dean Scanlon was convicted of probation violation. Scanlon requested to activate sentence; 40 days credit was given.
Krystal Kay Spencer was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Spencer was sentenced to 24 hours community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Meagin Nicole Sumrall was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Sumrall was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Brian Scott Trauth was convicted of unsafe passing yellow line, speeding 60 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone and driving a vehicle with no operator’s license. Trauth was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Joseph E. White was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area and possession of a fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag. White was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Clode Williams was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Williams’ probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Terry Williams was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Williams’ probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
