Little Mountain Pottery Kiln Opening Festival Oct. 8 – 9

Little Mountain Pottery, the studio of Claude and Elaine Graves, will hold its 37th annual Kiln Opening Festival on Oct. 8 – 9. The festival, which is free and open to the public, will feature guest artists, craftspeople and mountain music.
On Saturday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. the stoneware kiln will be opened and on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. the redware kiln will be opened.
For its mountain music, the festival was recognized in the “Blue Ridge Music Trails” guide published by the University of North Carolina Press.
Little Mountain Pottery is located six miles from Columbus at 6372 Peniel Rd.
