‘Nia and the Joy of Movement’ class offered in Tryon

A class entitled “Nia and the Joy of Movement” will be offered in Tryon on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at Healthy Balance Center for Empowered Living, 104 Palmer St. in Tryon.
Nia, a sensory-based movement practice, draws from the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. Nia invites you to move in your body’s way to attain health and well-being.
Nia is beneficial for all ages and abilities, according to Healthy Balance staff. No prior experience is required.
