On Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the Polk County Historical Museum at 60 Walker St. in Columbus, the community is invited to welcome the new owners of M.A. Pace General Store in Saluda. The new owners are Leon Morgan and his daughter, Tanie Ciarvolo. Morgan and Ciarvolo will share their childhood memories of growing up in a small town. THey will also discuss how they plan to preserve the heritage of their ancestors by keeping this 112-year-old landmark general store open and serving the public.
