Donna Southworth of Tryon Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship recently presented a check for $200 to Manfred Walter, Habitat for Humanity president. The money came from the proceeds of the church’s November harvest sale last year. The harvest sale is an annual event held by the church to benefit local charities and support college scholarships.
