Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 182 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are printed as they appear in court records):
Aug. 24, 2011 session
Shaibu Abdulai was convicted of speeding 45 m.p.h. in a 40 m.p.h. zone. Abdulai was fined $30 and court costs.
Beau Justin Allen was convicted of communicating threats. Allen was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Alise Rudd Andrews was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Andrews was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Christopher Cha Booker was convicted of consumption of alcohol by a 19/20 year old. Booker was fined $100 and court costs.
Tina D. Chandler was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Chandler was fined $40 and court costs.
Kristine Anna Crippen was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Crippen was fined $40 and court costs.
Ladrecka Sherma Foster was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Foster was fined $30 and court costs.
Angela Burnet Goodrich was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Goodrich was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Randy Keith Heatherly was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Heatherly was sentenced to 12 days in jail with credit for time served.
Katie Leigh Holmes was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Holmes was sentenced to 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Thomas Jeffrey Krumins was convicted of driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Krumins was fined $40 and court costs.
Robert Carl Miles Jr. was convicted of displaying a suspended license and driving a vehicle with impaired equipment. Miles was fined $75 and court costs.
Anton L. Morris was convicted of speeding 91 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Morris was fined $91 and court costs.
Johnny Lee Parker was convicted of speeding 91 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Parker was fined $91 and court costs.
Todd Eric Phillips was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Phillips was fined $30 and court costs.
Graeson Doug Pritchard was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and driving after consuming under age 21. Pritchard was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Keith Carlisle Sinex was convicted of resisting a public officer. Sinex was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Charles Justin Stepp was convicted of obstruction of justice. Stepp was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Travis Wayne Stone was convicted of speeding 92 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Stone was fined $92 and court costs.
Brett Wallace Trauth was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Trauth was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Toni Keyonna Wilkins was convicted of speeding 39 m.p.h. in a 25 m.p.h. zone. Wilkins was fined $40 and court costs.
Tracy Douglas Williams was convicted of speeding 79 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Williams was fined $40 and court costs.
Michael Todd Wolfe was convicted of driving while license revoked. Wolfe was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

John Clayton Gemmell was convicted of speeding 99 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Gemmell was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Joel L. Grant was convicted of speeding 25 m.p.h. in a 20 m.p.h. zone. Grant was fined $30 and court costs.
Shayne M. Littlejohn was convicted of driving while license revoked. Littlejohn was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Shelly Lee McGivney was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. McGivney was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $25 fine and court costs.
