The most recent rescue was “Bridge Dog” on Monday, June 13. The Saluda Dog Society reports that she is well, rehabilitated and now adopted by a loving family in Saluda who named her Bridge. Along with the humans in her new household, Bridge has a new and trusted love, a golden retriever named Ray, along with a cat.

The Saluda Dog Society welcomes and appreciate suggestions, information and participation. For more information call Pat Waring at 828-749-1332. The group’s next next meeting is on Monday, Sept. 12 at 1:15 p.m. in the Saluda library.
