Janice Petty, O.P. Earle Elementary’s school nurse, was presented with a $100 School Health gift card from School Health Corporation for participating in the “Day in the Life of a School Nurse” photo contest.
According to the judges, Petty’s photos captured the inspiration, enthusiasm and creativity they were looking for.
When asked about her life as a school nurse, Petty replied, “I am thankful to be a part of the staff at O. P. Earle Elementary School.  School nursing is recognized as a specialty nursing area and the primary role of the school nurse is to support student learning. Within that framework I find many challenges and joys each and every day.”
