The event for the day at the Tryon Country Club for the Tryon Women’s Golf Association on July 26 was Captain’s Choice, followed by the monthly luncheon/meeting.
The team in first place, with a net score of 34, was Jane Templeton, Claire Conrad and Parky Flanagan.
The team in second place, with a net score of 35, was Joyce Arledge, Sheila Umlauf and Helen Faber.
Hostesses for the day were Claire Conrad (chair), Peggy Henson, Sheila Umlauf and Joyce Lamb.
On Aug. 2, the event for the day was low gross, low net and low putts. Look for results in the Bulletin soon.
