Students from Rhonda Hill’s class at Polk County High School (PCHS) earned community service credit by hand painting a logo, designed by art teacher Susan McRostie, on 100 tote bags provided by Tryon United Methodist Church. The church will fill the bags with free school supplies and distribute them to the first 100 students at its community-wide back-to-school bash on Saturday, Aug. 13.  For more information call the church at 859-9218 or visit www.gbgm-umc.org/tryonumc.
