The McKinney family, Sydna (left), Nolen, Mia and Aunt Marion, were the first to enter the water when Gibson Park Pool opened up for the public at noon Saturday, June 11. The pool is located on Park Street in Columbus. It is open for general swimming Tuesday-Saturday from 12-5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Family swim time is Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. Season passes are available, and the pool can also be reserved for parties and other occasions.
