Local potter Jim Cullen will conduct a one day workshop titled “Surface Treatments and Glazes for Ceramics” on Friday, May 27 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Tryon Painters and Sculptors ceramic studio in the Fine Arts Center in Tryon.

Cullen has exhibited his work at the Tryon Arts and Crafts School, at many local galleries and in exhibitions. He has extensive knowledge of texturing pottery and also of applying dramatic glazes.
