Gwen Goodwin, who is in the care of Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, enjoyed a night out with her husband, Bennie, and grandsons at “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” courtesy of Flat Rock Playhouse.

Gwen said it was such fun watching her grandsons watch the play. Bennie said it was nice to have his wife out of pain, smiling and enjoying life again. They also enjoyed dinner at the Cracker Barrel, courtesy of The Jean Eckert Fund.
