Betty Hall, 88, of Plymouth, Minn., formerly of Landrum, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2011.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Hall; stepson, Jeffrey Hall; brother, Robert Cory and first husband, Robert C. Bates.
She was survived by sons, Jim Bates, Tom Bates (Barb Hultmann) and Bill Bates and many loving relatives and friends.
She donated her free time to many charities and organizations, too many to list. Locally, she was active in the Tryon Little Theater, among other groups.
She was a very warm and giving person. She was a strong, independent woman who worked full-time and raised three fine sons.
She can now spend eternity with her “true love,” Robert Bates.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 4 at St. Edward’s Episcopal Church, Wayzata, Minn.
Memorials preferred to St. Edwards Episcopal Church.
