The Presbyterian Women of Tryon Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Strawberry Festival on Friday, May 6 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. A barbecue dinner will be prepared by Paul Ayers and will include your choice of pulled pork or barbecue chicken along with all the “fixings.” For dessert, strawberry shortcake made with fresh local strawberries and whipped cream will be served. Take out plates are available. Tickets may be purchased at the church office. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry.
