Four hands are better than two

What is more exciting than “four hands” piano playing? Double the number of quality pianists on one keyboard, add a combo of percussion, acoustic guitar and string bass and put them together with an energetic 80+ voice choir, tackle the Mack Wilberg eight-part vocal arrangement of “Cindy” and now you have excitement. Pictured is Richard Kennedy directing the Community Chorus while the nimble fingers of John Gardner and Pam McNeil lead the charge on this number. The Community Chorus concert is Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. at Polk County High School. All ticket proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Tryon Scholarship Fund. (photo submitted)
