Lovelace shares Gulf experiences at ‘Fun & Learning Night’

Join Sam Lovelace, artist activist and film maker, as she shares her experiences in the gulf coast region Wednesday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Hurricanes, oil spills, fishing homes tourists, press, volunteers, clean-up crews, engineers, estuaries and government – how are all these factors fitting in the Gulf Crisis equation? Lovelace shares potions from the film “Katrina to Deepwater Horizon: Tragedies of Cash, Climate and Culture.”

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Congregational Church with a homemade soup supper for a donation to the Hands of Change Youth Service group. The free presentation follows at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
