To the Editor:
I am angry about the number of burglaries in our area.
While the sheriff and the commissioner are arguing over paying deputies, thieves are stealing anything not nailed down and property that does not belong to them! When I moved to Polk County over six years ago it was touted as the safest place to live in the state.  I know economic times are difficult now. We are a community of honest law abiding citizens. Our property is not yours for the taking. I hope these dishonest low life thieves can read; because I am saying; “stay out of our community.” We are now on to you and are now prepared for your next adventure into our once safe community.
