Mill Spring First Baptist Church will host a “Radical Love” conference for teenage girls on Saturday, April 2.
Guest speaker Lynn Cowell, of Proverbs 31ministry, talks to today’s teens, who are under pressure on all sides, from sex and drugs at school to performance and maturity at home.
With topics such as “What are they to say ‘yes’ to?” and “When do they say ‘No?’,” the “Radical Love” conference is designed to help teens discover God’s best for them and have fun doing it. From the power of love that can lead to a pure life, to learning what a true knight in shining armor looks like, Cowell will speak to the hearts and minds of teen girls as they listen. According to organizers, Cowell will help her audience know that Jesus replaces loneliness with His acceptance and approval right where they are today.
Mill Spring First Baptist church will hold the “Radical Love” conference April 2 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Lunch will be served. There will be music, games and door prizes. This is a free event.
