On Friday, March 25 and Friday, April 1, The Saluda Mountain Jamboree and Tim Griffin will sponsor a sock hop, or a dance, for the students from WNC area schools.

Friday, March 25, will be for high school students and Saturday, April 1, will be for middle school students. Griffin will be the DJ for both evenings. Parents and teachers are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The parties will be chaperoned and some rules will apply. Absolutely no alcohol or drugs will be allowed at the parties. The concession will be open with soft drinks, hot dogs, popcorn and other snacks.

If the parties go well, they could become regularly scheduled events. The parties will be from 7 – 10 p.m.
