Montreat College senior and environment studies major Stephanie Luedi, daughter of Kim and Susan Luedi and granddaughter of Hans and Elsbeth Luedi, was named on the distinguished scholars list at Montreat with a GPA of 3.94.

Montreat College is a Christ-centered liberal arts institution with its main campus for four-year traditional students in Montreat. The accelerated School of Professional and Adult Studies program have campuses in Asheville, Charlotte and Black Mountain.
