Pearsons Falls open for visitors

Spring is coming to the falls. Flowers are beginning to come up and any day the Dutchman’s Britches, the Hepatica, the Mayapple or the Spring Beauty will blossom. The Columbine and the Troutlily will be following. Visitors are welcome. The glen is open from 10 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon – 5:15 p.m. on Sunday. Pearsons Falls has been owned and operated by the Tryon Garden Club since 1932. The club welcomes interested persons to join in helping to preserve this 268 acres of deciduous climax forest with over 200 species of wildflowers, fern, moss and lichen.
