The Landrum High School Raider team won the state championship meet at Blythewood High School Feb. 19. The Raiders got first in every event and swept the meet. The state championship team includes Will Brown, Ian Betzel, Pagie Herbst, Mick Prather, Orlando Fowler, Danny Bruce, Kenneth Human and Captain Levi Wedde. Cadet Will Brown got second overall on the physical fitness test with 72 push-ups, 80 sit-ups and a mile time of 6:06. Pagie Herbst got first overall in the physical fitness test with 55 push-ups, 90 sit-ups and a mile time of 6:57.
