Applications for the Frank and Sybil H. Giordano Scholarship are available in the student services office at Polk County High School.

This is a full scholarship for the freshman year at University of North Carolina – Asheville which covers tuition, fees, room and board for the full year. Along with the application students will be given an eligibility requirement fact sheet.

Senior students must have attended Polk County High School for at least three consecutive years and be a resident of Polk County. Students need to have applied and meet admission requirements for UNC-Asheville.

The deadline for applications is March 15. If parents and/or seniors have any questions, contact Nela Loflin at 828-894-8594, ext. 312 in the student services office of PCHS.
