The Thermal Belt Community Tennis Association (TBCTA) has elected new officers and directors for 2011. Directors are Paul Adams, Kenneth Alexander, Nowell Guffey, Roberta Heinrich, Gordie High, Wally Killough, Steve King, Darlene McFarland, Bob Montgomery, Bimal Patel and Sherri Wingo. McFarland is the new president, Alexander is vice president, Montgomery is treasurer and Wingo is secretary.

The board decided in their last meeting that the CTA will be less active in the winter months and not hold meetings every month. There will be some changes concerning activities for youth and adults this year. Events will be held but all may not be under the direct supervision of the board volunteers. Socials will continue to be held about four times a year for all members.

Dues, and any additional contributions, promote and support tennis in the community. Annual membership dues are payable now. The fees remain the same. Checks should be made payable to TBCTA and sent to P.O. Box 280, Tryon, N.C. 28782.
