Join the Foothills Association of Master Gardeners Monday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. to better understand the community connection to the local agriculture and economic heritage of the county.

Polk County Agricultural Development Center Director Lynn Sprague will give a tour of the center. Sprague will discuss current activities, recently obtained grants and explore opportunities and technologies that will build a strong network for the local economy.

The ag center is located 135 School House Road in Mill Spring. This is the previous location of the Mill Spring School, past the post office. It is located within a quarter of a mile of the intersection of Hwy. 108 and Hwy. 9.

Participants are asked to park in front of the school and use the main entrance.
