The following is recent news from Tryon Country Club.

Russ Walker and Bill Kelly both made holes-in-one recently. Walker made his on Saturday, Jan. 29 on #9 and on Kelly made his on Wednesday, Feb. 2 on #18. Kelly was playing with Jerry Perry, Peggy Henson and Guy Rouse. This was Kelly’s first hole-in-one.

The Men’s Play Day results from the two man combined net event Monday, Jan. 31. The winners were John Gargiulo and Jim Shirley with a score of 70. Second place went to Rody Dayvault and Don Weinberger with a 72. Closest to the hole on #9 was won by Don Weinberger.
