Vining celebrates 700th win

Polk County native and coach Seth Vining (center, with microphone) of Gainesville, Ga., recently celebrated his 700th career win as a basketball coach. Vining brought his Lakeview Academy Lions to Polk County on Jan. 8 to take on the Wolverines. Vining is married to the former Cathy Fincher of Tryon. Both have family still living in the area.
