PCMS students study triangles

Mrs. Burke’s eighth grade math class is studying the relationships of the sides of a right triangle. The Connected Math curriculum at Polk County Middle School provides cooperative experiences. Students work in groups to solve multi-step problems and discover important mathematical concepts such as the Pythagorean Theorem.
