Joint operation nets arrests

A joint investigation between Tryon Police Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Department and
Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department brought forth the arrests of Amanda Michelle Belue and John Eli Brewer.The two were arrested in connection with methamphetamine being sold at 101 Mountain View Lane in Tryon. Belue and Brewer were arrested Jan. 21 and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and also maintaining a dwelling used for selling methamphetamine.A search warrant was conducted on Friday, Jan. 21, in which a large amount of methamphetamine was located and seized. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also seized at the residence.
Belue is being held at the Henderson County Jail under a $ 25,000 secure bond. Brewer is being held at the Polk County Jail under a $ 25,000 secure bond. Both Belue and Brewer have
charges pending in Spartanburg County and each have an additional fugitive from justice warrant with a $75,000 bond.
