Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Wed., Dec. 29, 2010 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 111 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are as given in court records):
Tommy Presten Akins was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and intoxicated and disruptive behavior. Akins was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Susan Jones Clayton was convicted of unsealed wine/liquor in passenger area. Clayton was fined $35 and court costs.
Samuel Rufus Fagan was convicted of taking game during closed season. Fagan was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine, two years of license revocation and court costs.
Brian Scott Hayes was convicted of simple assault. Hayes was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Daren Curtis Johnson was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone and maintaining a place for a controlled substance. Johnson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Ruvim Victor Kazadayev was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Kazadayev was fined $40 and court costs.
Bradley Scott Miller was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Miller was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Mickey Daniel Morgan was convicted of injury to personal property. Morgan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $500 in restitution and court costs.
