Local government offices will be closed for the holidays.

The schedule for each office and any changes in garbage service schedules are given below:

Town of Columbus

Columbus Town Hall will be closed today and Monday for Christmas and on Monday, Jan. 3 for New Years. Recycling will be picked up today.

City of Landrum

Landrum offices will be closed tomorrow and Monday for Christmas and next Friday for New Years.

Polk County government

Polk County offices were closed yesterday and today. They will reopen on Monday and be closed next Friday for New Years. Deputies will still be on the road and the communications (911) office will be open 24/7 through the holidays.

City of Saluda

Saluda offices are closed today and Monday for Christmas and Monday, Jan. 3 for New Years. Garbage service will run as usual during the holidays.

Town of Tryon

Tryon offices will be closed today and Monday for Christmas and next Friday and Mon., Jan. 3 for New Years. Garbage services will not be affected for the holidays. Brush and leaf pick-up may be delayed a week.
