Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held on Dec. 1 with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 86 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are as given in court records):
Elijah Saseleh Belardo was convicted of driving while license revoked. Belardo was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Douglas Richard Brown was convicted of speeding 92 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Brown was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Melissa Dawn Day was convicted of driving while license revoked. Day was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Amanda F. Frits was convicted of speeding 95 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Frits was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $95 fine and court costs.
Steven B. Searcy was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Searcy’s probation was continued and extended two months.
Everett Eugene Sims was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Sims was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Kathleen M. Stewart was convicted of operating a vehicle with no operator’s license. Stewart was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
