Tryon Elementary School had its latest McTeacher Night last Tuesday, October 5. Many teachers, including Mr. Williams, the principal, and Mr. Miller, the superintendent, were there to greet and wait on friends and family of Tryon Elementary School.
The school counselor, Mr. K, was working the fryer, the schools secretary, Mrs. Collins, was working the drive through window, the music teacher, Mr. Cowan, was putting the sandwiches and burgers together, just to mention a few. Teachers said they had a great time.
Because of
the success of the evening, Tryon Elementary was able to raise $1,050 for the R.I.F. program which provides free books to students.
