First Citizens Bank is the presenting sponsor of the event. A minimum of $750 will be donated to Patriot Golf Day and the Wounded Warriors Fund, which provides scholarships to the children and spouses of U.S. service men and women killed or wounded in the line of duty.
Also on the calendar is the Fruits of Labor tournament at 9 a.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 6. Each player in the alternate-shot format event brings a prize that is the fruit of his or her labor.
