To the Editor:

About a year and four months ago (March 9) I was in your paper. I escaped from the courthouse and got away on foot. Unfortunately, I got caught only nine days later. Anyhow, Im going to be in court this month (7-26-10) on the escape charge. Im planning to take the case to trial because its the only way I can speak my piece to the people.

My side of the story. How I was extremely over-sentenced (14 to 17 years) on a small, non-violent charge (firearm by felon). A charge I plead not guilty to and still claim to be innocent of. How I didnt really have any choice.

Im asking if you are interested in recording or printing any of this. Im also asking if you people would be interested in me writing a short column in your paper, the underdogs side of the story.
