A dump truck and tractor trailer collided on I-26 Wednesday night, shutting down westbound traffic for a couple of hours.
Both westbound lanes were closed because of the wreck, with traffic backed up along the westbound side of the interstate for at least two hours.
Drivers near the Columbus and Landrum exits were able to get off and detour around Saluda.
Saluda Fire and Rescue officials say they were dispatched at 9:28 p.m. to the wreck near mile marker 60.
The drivers of both trucks were injured, with one suffering a minor injury and the other injured severely, according to Lt. Nick Edwards of Saluda Fire and Rescue.
The names of those injured were not released as of press time yesterday.
