Tryon Town Council presented a proclamation this week to Tom Foster, who retired from the Harmon Field Board of Supervisors this month. Foster served on the board since 2002. Mayor Pro-Tem Austin Chapman presented Foster the proclamation Tuesday and noted Fosters value as a resident and volunteer in Tryon.
