The Tryon Country Club is planning for both its club championships as well as its annual July 4 celebration and tournament.

The club championships will be contested in three divisions. The Senior Mens division is set for June 16; the Mens and Seniors division is scheduled for June 19-20 and the Womens division will tee off June 26-27.

The July 4 celebration will include barbecue and live music performed by Breezy Ridge. The day will start off with the Flag Tourney beginning at 9 a.m. Other festivities are scheduled for 4 p.m. Cost is $12.50 per person and $6.50 for children ages 8 and older. Deadline for registration with is 5 p.m. on July 1.
